Pollywood Industry in a short time achieved big fame in the 20th century and now growing at a rapid pace. If we talk about biggest hits in Punjabi cinema then only a few names come into our minds but we collected all facts and figures of First day opening collection of Top Punjabi movies ever in the history of Punjabi film industry.

1). Sardaar Ji: Diljit’s Sardaar ji breaks all the record and got first position in the list of top Punjabi movies ever with highest first-day box office collection.

2). Chaar Sahibzaade: The film on Soul of the nation Chaar Sahibzaade’s achieved 2nd slot in the list. However, it’s still interesting to see whether any Punjabi movie can break the overall collection of Chaar Sahibzaaade or not.

3). Jatt & Juliet 2: Once again, Star of Punjabi audience Diljit Dosanjh Jatt and Juliet 2 got 3rd place in the list. Film managed to earn more than ₹1.26 Cr in one day

4). Gadaar The Traitor: Recently, Pollywood King Harbhajan Mann has seen in Gadaar Punjabi movie who made a good impact in the industry and collected almost ₹1.22 Cr on very first day.

5). Disco Singh: Disco Singh released in April 2014 which made approximately ₹1.20 crore Staring Diljit and Bollywood actress Surveen Chawla, However, in the end movie failed to meet the expectation of public.

6). Punjab 1984: After completing so many hurdles Punjab 1984 successfully released around the world. Film had received around ₹1.02 crore on opening day.

7). Jatt & Juliet: The film released in 2012 and popularly known for character “Fatto” (Neeru Bajwa). This movie was the biggest release of modern Punjabi industry and broken all the records in the end, but the first day was not so good with gross box office collection of around ₹78 Lakh.

8). Jatt James Bond: Gippy Grewal and Zarine Khan had led the movie in 2014 which managed to earn more than ₹76 Lakh in a day and named the biggest hit of Gippy’s career.
