At last the long wait seems to end! Touted to be the most anticipated Punjabi movie of the year ‘Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne’ is all set to hit the theatres near you on October 5th 2022. This Dusshera release has an engrossing plot coupled with jaw dropping performances by all the actors.
For the very first time, the pairing of Diljit Dosanjh and Sargun Mehta will tickle the audiences’ funny bone. The chemistry between them is surely not to be missed. Also, Pakistani comedian and actor Sohail Ahmed will make a debut in Punjabi cinema with ] this comedy Punjabi flick in the lead role along with Diljit and Sargun.
The plot of the movie is chronicle of events revolving around the demise of an elderly man and its aftermath, which sees multiple individuals solving a puzzle to claim his insurance benefits. Diljit plays a boy who adopts a dying man as his father to pocket the insurance money. Sargun plays a girl working at a retirement home dishing out critical information to Diljit. Diljit and his friends plan to keep the dying ‘papaji’ alive for 25 days but things don’t go as planned as his health drastically improves, much to everyone’s dismay. It a roller-coaster ride of laughter and comedy of errors!
The music of the movie is already leading the chartbusters with its peppy beats and beautiful lyrics. The movie is written by Naresh Kathooria and the music is given by Saregama. The film is produced by Daljit Thind & and Daljit Dosanjh and is directed by Amarjit Singh Saroon.
