“Saab Bahadar” an upcoming Punjabi movie, whose teaser crossed 1 million views in its first week, may be proven to set a new on screen benchmark by Ammy Virk. Ammy Virk who till now was seen in virtuous or impeccant role is coming with something serious.
After watching the teaser, the very first question comes to the mind is which type of character will Ammy play in this movie?
In the teaser, we can hear a serious announcement made by the Gurudwara Sahib of a village restricting people to be aware of the present situations going on in Punjab that are creating consequences also a slight glance of Ammy Virk as a gravitas police inspector is seen. So we can expect this movie of Ammy isn’t about humour or romance, but of something more intellectual.
The whole cast of the movie has executed a great piece to raise the expectations of the audience. The presence of comedy king ‘Jaswinder Bhalla’ on the silver screen will definitely bring a lot of laughter and entertainment among the viewers. Though it feels like movie will not be about jokes in the whole but it has something to learn in the core. Till now Ammy has presented himself as funky innocent Jatt or even as ‘Fukra Punjabi’ but this time he seems to be quite serious, matured and responsible.
So has he changed his attitude on screen or not? It’s an unsolved riddle for the audience till the release of the movie. We wish him and all the team of movie a very good luck.
