Singer Arijit Singh, recently, held a virtual concert to raise funds for people residing in Covid-hit rural areas. Besides soulful music, it was his turban with a grown-up beard that caught the attention.
Yes, the singer’s new look blown his fans in surprise and ecstasy. They just can’t stop gushing over and wholeheartedly appreciated Arijit’s fresh style via comments on social media platforms.
However, the Bollywood singer belongs to a Punjabi family, as you may know already. His father, Kakkar Singh is a Sikh while his mother was a Bengali. Though the senior Singh always spotted wearing a turban, Arijit donned it for the first-ever time.
Furthermore, the digital concert initiated for the betterment of the people staying in Covid affected rural areas. The fund-raising event was truly laced with heart-hitting music and the spirit of compassion. Also, Tum Hi Ho-fame singer held it from Jiaganj, Murshidabad (WB), his hometown. Lastly, the digital show conducted under Helping Rural India Breathe And Stay Safe and GiveIndia programs.
The singer himself suffered a huge loss a few weeks ago. His mother died due to a cerebral stroke days after recovering from the effect of Coronavirus.
We appreciate how celebrities from Bollywood and Pollywood are stepping forward and contributing their efforts to help everyone survive the second-worst Covid wave. This is what we need to stay united and fight the deadly disease altogether.
