What does a U-certificate mean?

Censor Board use to watch & review every movie before its release in India. In this process, the board uses to award various certificates to movies including U, U/A, and A certificate etc. The U certificate means that movie can be released in the theatres as it is without any kind of cuts, and all type of age category can watch it without any type of special precaution. On the other hand, if we talk about the U/A certificate then this type of movies needs some precautions. Like the children below the age of 12 can’t watch it without their parents. While A certificate meant to a movie for the adult category only.

Hence, the Punjabi movie Laatu is a perfect family movie and will be released on Friday and you all should get a ticket booked in advance for you and your family.
