Story

The story of newly released Punjabi movie Laatu revolves around a funny but very emotional concept that when a boy (Gagan Kokri) falls in love with a girl (Aditi Sharma) of another village. Then the issue of personal ego hits the drama and girl’s family demands boy’s family to get their house electrified. The story is much promissing that reflects the neglegence of Indian system from Panchayat to the departmental level.

Acting

In the movie Laatu, Gagan Kokri and Aditi Sharma presented the romance in a very calm manner as both looks like to be very humble. They are looking like a perfect couple that you will love to watch them together again. Rest of the starcast including Sardar Sohi, Karamjeet Anmol, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Parkash Gadhu, Herby Sangha, Malkeet Rauni, Ashish Duggal, Nisha Bano and Anita Devgan added a lot of crisp to the movie. The chemistry and war of ego between these vetran actors of the movie is the backbone of the movie.

Direction

The movie is helmed by Manav Shah. He has taken the innitiative to highlight the problems of villages especially from the old days when having electricity was also a big corruage. The smart thing about his work is that he had given a specific time and dialogues to each of the actor along with the right placement of songs.

Music

The songs of the movie Laatu are penned down by Maninder Kailey and composed by Jatinder Shah. All the tracks are chrismatic as the audience loves to listen the song Lalariya by Kamal Khan, Saat Pind by Gurlez AKhtar and firstly released Jeth Mahina by Karamjeet Anmol. You will also enjoy the tunes of these tracks while watching the movie in the theatres.
