After huge success of Sardaar Ji, producers instantly decided for the sequel The Return of Sardaarji. While Diljit Dosanjh has been retained as the male lead and RohitJugraj as the director, actress Mandy Takhar will be replaced by Sonam Bajwa. Shooting of the film has taken place in different locations across Australia.
Dheeraj Rattan will be working on the story and screenplay of the film with Jatinder Shah and Nick Dhammu composing the music. Ask him if the super success of Sardaar Ji has brought him pressure, Gunbir Singh Sidhu of White Hill Productions says, “When you are in the business of making films, you can’t succumb under pressure. We just take God’s blessings and go ahead with our work. While releasing Sardaar Ji, we hadn’t thought that it would turn out be the biggest Punjabi blockbuster.”
The Return of Sardar Ji is going to release on 24th June 2016. Just like Sardaarji, the sequel promises to be fully entertaining and will become a part of everyone’s life. With Jatt& Juliet franchise, Punjab 1984 and Sardaarji the team has made a hatrick and have created history at the box office and hopes to continuing the good work. We hope the sequel to Sardaarji will be more entertaining and will make another big record all over.
