Finally, the much-awaited song Lakeeran from Haseen Dillruba has been released today. The Punjabi song Lakeeran features Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey. The couple seems to go through a rough patch in their married life. The writer Sidhant Mago pens down the beautiful lyrics while Amit Trivedi serves as the composer of the song.
In the soulful voices of Devender Pal Singh and Asees Kaur, it is truly heart-pleasing. Furthermore, both of the singers have successfully proved their talents, paving their way through musical reality shows, like Indian Idol. Devender Pal Singh got recognition for his song Luni Hasi from Luv Shuv te Chicken Khurana. He is famous for his Sufi and classical singing styles. While songstress Asees Kaur grabbed eyeballs for the song Jaan Ban Gaye from Khuda Haafiz followed by many popular songs.
Talking about the movie, Haseen Dillruba is a mystery-thriller. Vinil Mathew directs it while T-Series & Colour Yellow Productions Pvt. Ltd. produces the upcoming Bollywood movie.
