For the very first time, a bilingual movie of Punjabi film industry is going to be released by Taran Entertainment and King’z film Entertainment. The shooting of the film has been started in Punjab. This film will be titled as ‘Desi’ in Pollywood, but the Bollywood title has not been decided yet. ‘Desi’ will be a comedy love story based on sports. Mesmerizing voice of Arijit Singh will be featured for the very first time in Punjabi cinema. Along with Arijit, Sunidhi Chauhan, Master Saleem and Rashi Raagga will also lend voice for the songs of the movie.
The music has been composed by the award winning music director Sourav Kalsi and Kunal Sondhi. ‘Harish Vyaas’, who gained fame from Proper Patola song has directed the film. Whereas, the film has been produced by Angad Productions and Kranti Partap Singh, who have already produced 2 Punjabi and Marathi films respectively. More details about the movie and the star cast will be revealed soon. ‘Desi’ is dated to be released in Feb or March 2017.
