Amrinder Gill’s much-awaited Punjabi film Daaru Na Peenda Hove has hit theaters. Directed by Rajiv Dhingra, the drama features Gill, Zafri Khan, and Sohaila Kaur in lead roles. The supporting cast includes Pukhraj Sandhu, Pinnu Sekhon, and Naina Batra.
In this funny and touching story, Gogga (Zafri Khan) is a caring but insecure father whose life changes when a charming bachelor, Jagroop (Amrinder Gill), settles in his neighbourhood and catches his son’s interest. At the same time, Jagroop’s carefree life is turned upside down when he unexpectedly has to take care of a lively young girl. He then has to face challenges that reveal his hidden weaknesses.
Amrinder Gill delivers a standout performance as a bachelor father, showcasing a blend of humour and vulnerability as he navigates the challenges of unexpected parenthood. Moreover, Sohaila Kaur shines as the daughter, bringing a lively and dynamic presence. She captures the essence of childhood curiosity and resilience.
