Avtar Singh(Director)

Avtar Singh is an Indian filmmaker and screenwriter who works in the Punjabi film industry. he was born in Sunam in Sangrur district. Completed Masters from Punjabi University in Punjabi Language and Theatre. He is married and has a son named Shaanjyot singh. Before directing Mitti Na Pharol Jogiya he work in mumbai with Director Anurag Basu. Popular bolywood movie Barfi was made under him. He made his directorial debut with Mitti Na Pharol Jogiya. He also directed 2017 action drama film Rupinder Gandhi 2 The Robinhood, both of which were written by him.
