Sameksha stands very optimistic about her character in her upcoming movie Vaapsi where she stars along with Harish Kumar in the Rakesh Verma directorial venture. The trailer of the movie is out and is already being loved by the audience. The trailer also reveals Gulshan Grover playing a pivotal role in the Punjabi movie.
Vaapsi Story of Punjab in 1984 focuses on the state of the 1984 regime of Punjab and its people. The story revolves around three friends who fled their homes during the dismal phase of 1984 and settled into different countries. Decades later once they decide of returning their homes, what happens is presented through the movie.
Quite many movies have attempted to portray the conditions prevalent during the sad era however Vaapsi seems to make a different mark. Amardeep Singh who has penned down the movie’s lyrics and dialogues stresses on the honesty and perseverance the movie is going to offer to its audience. Sameksha’s confidence on the script and her character Jeetan is sure to look out for as the powerful performances complemented by Gulshan Grover and Harish Verma is sure the set the screens on fire on 3rd of June, its scheduled release date.
