A film by Soul mate and Red Arts titled as ‘Punjab 2016’ is all set to hit the screens on 25th November. As the title of the film, the movie pictures the actual scenario of Punjab and the evil ’Drugs’ that Punjab has been fighting from many years. The film has portrayed that evil in it and also hopes that there is always another day and chance for everything. It has been made by the group of theatre artists in order to mirror the present condition of Punjab. It even teaches the youth of Punjab to live life and tackle the responsibilities and situations.
More interesting fact of the film is its starcast that features all the theatre artists starting from big names like Rana Ranbir, Anita Meet, Malkeet Rauni, Gurpreet Bhangu, Gurchet Chitarka, Rupinder Rupi and many more along with the students of theatre and members of Red Arts team. The music of the film has been composed by Gurmoh with the mesmerizing songs of Kanwar Grewal, Jasbir Jassi, Harshdeep Kaur, Baba Beli and Gurjeet Jeeti. The Principal of BKS College Muhar, Dr. Surjeet Singh has produced the movie and has been directed by Balraj Sagar and Inderjit Moga. Punjab 2016 has been pen down by Deep Jagdeep.
