Proud Moment for Pollywood: Desi Munde pays tribute to Martyrs

By Harpreet Singh | October 4, 2016

After the release of the movie ‘Desi Munde’- the very first movie of singer ‘Balkar Sidhu’. The producers of the film, P.S Purewal, Balwinder Heer and Gurjeet Kaur Heer have decided to give away 10% of the movie’s profit to the families of 18 martyrs soldiers, who have been killed in Uri attack recently.

It has been the first time, that a cinema industry is paying such a tribute to the martyrs. Till now, not even Bollywood has thought of such initiative. Pollywood industry has give great singers and many beautiful faces, but this time it has given a great message to our society through this kind of initiative.

On one hand, every year many movies do business of millions. Whereas on the other hand, many soldiers also sacrifice their life for the sake of protecting us and their motherland from the evils. These lives are more precious than those millions, but the government only pay them some lakhs of money. Although their lives and sacrifice deserves much more than all this.

People its our appeal to you that please do watch ‘Desi munde’ to be a part of the great initiative. Whether you are a punjabi or not, but being an Indian, one should must watch the movie and give our brave soldiers a tribute for their sacfrice.
